Holly’s Thoughts: I’ve been a fan of Adrian Tinniswood’s work since I first read By Permission of Heaven about the Great Fire of London. His work on Christopher Wren was also a nice read (His Invention So Fertile). I’ll be setting off for pirate adventures once I finish what’s on my nightstand right now – The Lost City of Z by David Grann, for those who might be interested in my reading tastes. From my first skim of Pirates of Barbary, I think that I’ll definitely be in for an adventure. We will be submitting a request for a guest post, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you’ll find Adrian Tinniswood to be a great Twitterer, so be sure to follow him.
